All lanes will be open on the remaining weekdays from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Motorists on I-40 West should take Exit 279, NC 147 (Durham Freeway) NB. Follow NC 147 (Durham Freeway) north for 13 miles to I-85 SB. Take I-85 SB until it merges with I-40 Westbound.

Motorists on I-40 West can also take US 1 South for four miles to US 64 West. Follow US 64 West for 40 miles until you get to US 421. Take US 421 North and follow for 30 miles until you get to I-85. Take I-85 South to US 220 North. Follow US 220 North to get back to I-40 West near Greensboro.
